Last updated: February 18, 2026

Safe Browsing controls

  • New links can be checked against Google Safe Browsing.
  • Admins can run bulk checks for all active links.
  • Unsafe destinations are automatically moved out of active circulation.

Inactive link behavior

  • Deleted or inactive short codes stop resolving to destination URL.
  • Visitor is redirected to localized home page.
  • A top alert is shown once: "The link is no longer valid or does not exist."

Automatic lifecycle guards

  • One-time links are deleted after first successful visit.
  • Expired links are removed by cleanup routines.
  • Low-quality traffic protection can disable links with no activity over retention rules.
